The star midfielder Operated in a high spot down the right and put in the hard yards. Demonstrated flashes of quality but dragged an attempt high. Substituted in the closing stages by Rogers, a fellow player, after being booked. 7/10

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with the team's top opening of the first half, his strike excellently kept out from the Albanian keeper. As a teammate hanging back, it fell to him to offer an outlet down the right side but his crosses from the touchline were hit and miss. Taken off late in the match. 6/10

Harry Kane The decisive figure scoring 77th and 78th goals for his country. The opener a typical close-range tap-in while the second a superb headed goal following a clever run off his defender. Aged 32, his form is unwavering and England stand a real opportunity next summer when he's in the team. 8

The attacker Found it tough to get into the game on the left flank. Was presented with a decent opportunity when set up by Bellingham however the keeper made the save. Rashford produced a bigger an impact after coming on. 5/10
